Site information
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-09-01This Privacy Policy explains how The Blood of Dawnwalker Guide (“we,” “us,” or “the site”) handles information when you visit thebloodofdawnwalker.net. It covers the public website and its static search, optional analytics, optional advertising, external links, and contact communications. It does not govern Rebel Wolves, Bandai Namco Entertainment, platform stores, social networks, video services, or any other third party we link to. Those services publish and control their own privacy practices.
Information you can provide directly
The site does not offer reader accounts, purchases, private profiles, or a newsletter at this time. You can read and search without submitting your name. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, name, message, page URL, screenshots, or technical details. Please do not send passwords, account credentials, payment information, government identifiers, private save files, or other sensitive data. Contact information is used to review and answer the request, investigate a correction, process a privacy or copyright notice, protect the site, and keep a reasonable record of the resolution.
Information processed when pages load
Like most websites, the hosting and security layer receives ordinary network requests. This may include an IP address, requested URL, date and time, browser and device information, referral URL, approximate region, response status, and security signals. Cloudflare may process this data to deliver pages, route traffic, prevent abuse, cache files, and maintain service reliability. Cloudflare describes its processing of customer end-user traffic in its Privacy Policy . We do not receive a reader account from Cloudflare because this site does not create one.
Local search and browser storage
Site search uses Pagefind, a static search index downloaded and queried in your browser. Search terms are not submitted to a The Blood of Dawnwalker Guide search server. Your browser may store a theme preference and a cookie-consent choice in local storage so those choices persist on a later visit. Those values remain in your browser unless you clear site data, use private browsing, or your browser removes them. They are functional preferences, not reader profiles, and the site has no account system that connects them to your identity.
Optional analytics
A deployment may enable Google Analytics to understand aggregate page use, such as page views, referral sources, broad device categories, approximate geography, and interactions. On this site, the Google Analytics script is designed to load only after a visitor accepts the consent banner. Google Analytics can use first-party cookies and identifiers to measure interactions, and Google prohibits customers from sending personally identifiable information to Analytics. Google explains its measurement controls in Safeguarding your data . A deployment may also enable Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate, cookieless measurement. If the relevant environment setting is absent, that optional service is not loaded.
Optional advertising and Google services
The site is prepared to display Google AdSense advertising, but advertising scripts are enabled only when the required deployment settings are configured and, in this implementation, load after consent. Google and its partners may receive the page URL, IP address, browser information, advertising identifiers, and cookie information to deliver, measure, secure, or personalize ads according to your settings and applicable rules. Google explains how information from partner sites is used in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services . Declining the banner prevents the site’s optional Google Analytics and AdSense loaders from starting during that browser session under the current implementation.
External links, videos, and future comments
Links to official game pages, storefronts, social platforms, Metacritic, or other sites take you to services with separate data practices. Pages may use privacy-enhanced YouTube embeds: a thumbnail can load before interaction, while the video player is requested from youtube-nocookie.com after you choose to play. The template can also support giscus comments, which would load a GitHub-powered interface and allow GitHub or giscus to process network and account information. Comments are not a reader account operated by this site, and any page that enables them is subject to those providers’ terms and privacy notices.
Retention, sharing, and international processing
We keep direct correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request, maintain an editorial or legal record, prevent abuse, and meet applicable obligations. Hosting, analytics, advertising, and external-service retention are controlled by their providers and settings. We do not sell a contact message or maintain a commercial reader database. Information may be disclosed to service providers that operate the site, to professional advisers, to protect rights and security, or when required by valid legal process. Providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to their transfer mechanisms and applicable law.
Your choices and rights
You can accept or decline optional tracking through the consent banner, clear cookies and local storage in your browser, block third-party content, use available Google advertising controls, or stop following an external link. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection concerning personal information we control. We may need enough information to verify and locate a request, and some records may be retained where legally permitted. Submit a request through the Contact page. The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly create profiles of children. We may update this policy when the site or its services change; the date at the top identifies the current version.
